We worked with Andy and his team to replace all the floors in our home while we prepped it for sale. All the carpet was replaced, LVP replaced old linoleum, and the hardwood floors were refinished and restained. Andy is very knowledgeable, which made the whole process very smooth. The store room had hundreds of options, but he understood my needs/budget and pointed me to exactly what I was looking for. The installers worked quickly and efficiently and were very tidy. Competent and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them. They installed carpet in my daughter's condo. It was pouring down rain so the carpet could not be cut in the parking lot, and the roll was to large to fit down the twisting hallways of my daughter's building. Andy and his team at Builders Interiors were amazing to work with for our primary bathroom remodel. Andy was great at communicating, and everything was finished on time and as originally quoted. Our installer was fantastic. Tudor paid such attention to detail, was on time and kept the job site (our bathroom adjacent to our bedroom) very clean at the end of every day. We ended up firing our general contractor and decided to manage the project on our own. As my first time doing any type of remodel, it was a bit intimidating, but Andy was so helpful - he recommended a great quartz installer, as well as sheetrock, plumbing and electrical, and we were so happy with the finished product. We used Builders Interiors for our solid surfaces and flooring in our new home and have been super-happy with the overall process. They have a huge selection and complete knowledge of their product line, so it made picking out materials and designs relatively easy. I say “relatively” because when you have that many choices, it can take a while. But, during the design process, we never felt rushed or hurried for a decision. Upon installation things went really well; especially considering they’re based on Woodinville and our new home is in Granite Falls.

As with any large project, not everything went perfectly. We had several locations on the flooring that was missing the transition strip, but availability of the product kept it from being installed at the time the rest of the flooring was put in. Rather than ask us to wait until all parts were available, they installed the majority of the flooring first. A few weeks after the flooring was put in and the transition strips were still missing, I called Builders Interiors and they were polite and direct with the reasons for the delay. While I would have liked it installed sooner, I didn’t feel like I was getting excuses: they owned the problem and were honest about the delay.

Later when one of our flooring panels cracked, getting it repaired and replaced was super-easy. We made a quick call, sent them a picture of the problem, and they had a guy out to not only replace the panel, but he also trimmed the cut-off earthquake strap that was left below the floor which caused the problem. Additionally, several years after the installation, our heated floor failed. Another call, a few pictures exchanged in email, and they helped diagnose the problem, walked me through removing the faulty control unit, and they had a replacement unit waiting for me when I showed up. No paperwork, no warranty discussions … they just took care of me.

In these reviews I keep seeing Andy’s name appearing and he was our contact with Builders Interiors. Love that guy and will absolutely work with Builders Interiors and Andy for any future interior update needs. - 5/06/2022

Could not have imagined a better experience with our kitchen remodel and flooring throughout the house. They have a huge selection of materials. Years ago we had carpet installed by a different company. Over the last few years it stretched to the point of having unsightly bumps in many areas. I worked with Andy, Jan and Debbie to get someone to fix the installation. They sent Ubaldo over to fix it and he did an amazing job. Up until a week ago, I owned a house in north Seattle for 22-years. It had been a rental for the past 16-years and when I decided last year to sell it my realtor and I talked it over and decided that it would be worthwhile to remodel the old kitchen given the very dated condition of the kitchen and strong market conditions. I mentioned remodeling the kitchen to a friend of mine and he recommended Andy Anderson & Builders Interiors in Woodinville for countertops and flooring.

I reached out to Andy and started working with him right away. I had a great experience working with Andy and all his crews, which is saying a lot b/c not all of the contractors working on the project would I want to work with again. Andy really knows his stuff and was able to help me and my wife make good, economical decisions around countertops, backsplash and flooring for a kitchen that was original circa 1946. Fortunately, Andy and his team were flexible for scheduling the phases of work b/c it simply took much longer than I originally anticipated (like that never happens!) and Andy and his project manager were able to adjust to meet my schedule. All of the teams that came in to install each piece were very good, fast and did their work beautifully and correctly on the first trip.
Best of all, the prices for each element (countertops, backsplash, flooring) were quite reasonable. I attribute their work, my work and the impeccable staging to having received 11 offers one week after we put it on the market! The next time I need countertops or the other items they sell, I will go see Andy Anderson first and that's the recommendation I make to you.

I had a fabulous experience working with Andy and Builders interiors. They worked with me during this crazy Covid time and did the installation in two phases at my request. I chose Evoke Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring and I couldn't be more pleased. The quality of the product and the workmanship of the install was impeccable. I also had carpet installed in my office and it feels so much more warm and cozy than it ever did, and they also installed rock around my wood burning stove, a great improvement from the concrete board that had surrounded it. I am hoping to get new kitchen countertops installed within the next year and I will not hesitate to call Andy again for an estimate. I posted this review two years ago after they carpeted our rental house. We just had them come out to the house we live in and carpet everything. Once again - a great experience. Andy and Bereniece were flexible and helpful when it took us a month to decide which direction to go. The installers were creative craftsmen who tackled difficult parts of the job (like this staircase) with hard work, skill and a cheerful attitude. They went above and beyond, even carpeting parts of the closet that a previous company had left bare. The job was done and the carpet looks great. The installer did not clean up any of the carpet remenants before he left so I had to clean up everything before moving any furniture back, which was a little annoying. They ordered the wrong amount of carpeting and had to come back, but they fixed the problem and made it right and installed it the next week. - 5/06/2019

Builders Interiors provides the best customer service anyone can ask for. They were really fast installing and always on time. I had the master bathroom and two kitchen backsplashes done at the lowest price with the best quality materials and workmanship. I went to two other companies but they were way over price, it was almost more than double than what builders interiors estimated. Ty said that it would take two weeks to complete the project but everything was completed perfectly three days early. Jim is the best installer I can ever ask for.. everything was perfect! Anytime I had to contact Ty or Jim they would respond right away which was really nice. Next month I am about to have them do my mother in law's house. - 11/04/2018

I did some small job back in 2012 and I was happy with the experience. Wanted to change the countertops, went to numerous places offering so called generic quartz and granite 2 cm. To my surprise Builders Interiors offered same price for Pental, MCI, other brand names for their square foot program but also was thicker 3 cm. For very little amount up I got whatever I wanted. Their representative was very nice , responsive. Everything went without any surprises, on time, as expected. I will definitely use them for my future projects! The sales person was professional but we hit a few snags. We were trying to coordinate the floor install with a water heater replacement but it was hard to get the two to agree on a time that worked for both of them. It got scheduled after Labor Day and someone didn't plan ahead so the flooring wasn't available when the water heater came out resulting in extra time for the plumber. Then the carpet measure was slightly off so one closet ended up with vinyl instead of carpet which is actually not a bad idea. The installers were great, very hard workers and the figured out ways around all the issues. We are very happy with the results. They also seem very flexible and can get things done quickly if you need it. Lots of flooring choices and generally helpful though I was hoping for more. Price was good. I couldn't be happier with the service my project received! Carpet and vinyl flooring was removed and Acacia hardwood was installed in approximately 1,000 sq. foot job. Andy's material estimate was under the competition (because the installers take the time to figure out how to not waste) so that along with better pricing for quality product saved me money. The installation crew was fast, efficient and did a super job and a great job of cleanup. I was so happy with the results that I had them come back to do an additional room in hardwood and will soon be ordering the new carpet for the remaining bedrooms. - 6/12/2016 

This place has a huge selection of tile, carpet, hardwood and laminate. Teresa and Ty bring a level of experience most people don't have. Tys install experience comes in very handy and Teresa's design input is very helpful when selecting a color scheme for your project. Andy is great at following up with you on whatever needs to be done. Overall great team of people to work with. I keep coming back every time I have a project I'm working on. I want to update my review from 6/22/2015 on Ty Mortenson. He called me after the first of the year, said he read my review and honestly reported that he didn't realize the job was incomplete and didn't have a firm understanding on what had happened. Didn't make excuses, he just wanted to make it right and asked to come back and take care of everything. That speaks volumes to me. He came back, reviewed the problems and took care of it. A lot of people would have wrote this off and I'll definitely work with him again. I think we've all been at a place where we were over committed, so next time I'll have more knowledge on how to manage this from a customer standpoint as well. Great price compared to my other estimates. The floors aren't perfect but they are 85 years old so I think they did their best. The workers didn't speak great english but were very nice and hard working. Andy always answered my emails quickly with whatever questions I had. They still have one small thing to finish which seems to be taking a while but I think they are doing their best. As with any contractor, sometimes the time frame is out of their control. I would definitely hire them again and I think I will for the rest of my floor restorations. - 8/29/2014
