Carpet Installation Bothell

Carpet comes in many different materials, textures, styles and prints. If you’re looking for the perfect flooring material for your home, you need to understand the available options and what each has to offer. So, let’s go over some of the options available at our carpet store near Bothell.

Carpet materials

Depending on your needs and preferences, you can choose from six different materials. These all have unique properties, and a distinctive appearance and feel. Let’s quickly go over their pros and cons:

Acrylic

Acrylic carpet doesn’t fade easily. It’s also dirt and mildew resistant, so if the room has a lot of moisture this is a good option. Acrylic tends to get fuzzy and shed, however.

Cotton

It’s very soft and comfortable, but it gets matted and stained easily. Great feel-wise, but it’s a little high-maintenance.

Nylon Carpet

Most popular, and also the most expensive. If you’re worried about the cost of carpet flooring, this may not be the best option for you. Nylon is super durable, easy to clean, and available in lots of colors. It can also, surprisingly, be used outdoors!

Olefin Carpet

It’s one of the most popular options today (second to nylon). It resists bleach and acids well, is affordable, and keeps its color well. It’s not as stain resistant, nor as durable as nylon. If you like nylon carpet but want something cheaper, this is it.

Polyester Carpet

One of the most stain-resistant options available on the market. It’s often made from recycled materials, so it’s a little more eco-friendly than nylon and others.

Wool Carpet

Very eco-friendly and luxurious, wool carpet is also dirt-resistant, fire-resistant and warm. It can fade easily, however, and it’s not resistant to liquid stains. It’s also hypoallergenic, and mildew-prone. Great for dry rooms that don’t get sunlight.

You might feel your carpet installation options in Bothell are limited because it’s a small place, but we have a large warehouse stocked with amazing products, and we’re barely ten minutes away!

Carpet Textures, Patterns & Colors

We currently have 9 different textures in stock at our carpet store. They include berber, cut-loop, cut pile, level loop, multi-level loop, random shear, Saxony, plush (or velvet), and frieze. These all look and feel different.

Carpet is one of the few materials where you can find something in practically every color and pattern you can think of. Stripes, polka dots, solid colors, complex prints…these are evergreen designs, but you’ll find lots more. If you want something understated but think solid color might be boring, you could go for a textured carpet.

Our designers are great at understanding what people want, and guiding them to the right product. Whether you have a detailed sketch or just a list of colors, we’ll work through it with you. And once you’ve placed your order, we’ll handle carpet installation too!
