As with any large project, not everything went perfectly. We had several locations on the flooring that was missing the transition strip, but availability of the product kept it from being installed at the time the rest of the flooring was put in. Rather than ask us to wait until all parts were available, they installed the majority of the flooring first. A few weeks after the flooring was put in and the transition strips were still missing, I called Builders Interiors and they were polite and direct with the reasons for the delay. While I would have liked it installed sooner, I didn’t feel like I was getting excuses: they owned the problem and were honest about the delay.
Later when one of our flooring panels cracked, getting it repaired and replaced was super-easy. We made a quick call, sent them a picture of the problem, and they had a guy out to not only replace the panel, but he also trimmed the cut-off earthquake strap that was left below the floor which caused the problem. Additionally, several years after the installation, our heated floor failed. Another call, a few pictures exchanged in email, and they helped diagnose the problem, walked me through removing the faulty control unit, and they had a replacement unit waiting for me when I showed up. No paperwork, no warranty discussions … they just took care of me.

Mike P.Up until a week ago, I owned a house in north Seattle for 22-years. It had been a rental for the past 16-years and when I decided last year to sell it my realtor and I talked it over and decided that it would be worthwhile to remodel the old kitchen given the very dated condition of the kitchen and strong market conditions. I mentioned remodeling the kitchen to a friend of mine and he recommended Andy Anderson & Builders Interiors in Woodinville for countertops and flooring.
I reached out to Andy and started working with him right away. I had a great experience working with Andy and all his crews, which is saying a lot b/c not all of the contractors working on the project would I want to work with again. Andy really knows his stuff and was able to help me and my wife make good, economical decisions around countertops, backsplash and flooring for a kitchen that was original circa 1946. Fortunately, Andy and his team were flexible for scheduling the phases of work b/c it simply took much longer than I originally anticipated (like that never happens!) and Andy and his project manager were able to adjust to meet my schedule. All of the teams that came in to install each piece were very good, fast and did their work beautifully and correctly on the first trip.
Best of all, the prices for each element (countertops, backsplash, flooring) were quite reasonable. I attribute their work, my work and the impeccable staging to having received 11 offers one week after we put it on the market! The next time I need countertops or the other items they sell, I will go see Andy Anderson first and that's the recommendation I make to you.

I chose Evoke Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring and I couldn't be more pleased. The quality of the product and the workmanship of the install was impeccable. I also had carpet installed in my office and it feels so much more warm and cozy than it ever did, and they also installed rock around my wood burning stove, a great improvement from the concrete board that had surrounded it. Builders Interiors provides the best customer service anyone can ask for. They were really fast installing and always on time. I had the master bathroom and two kitchen backsplashes done at the lowest price with the best quality materials and workmanship. I went to two other companies but they were way over price, it was almost more than double than what builders interiors estimated. To my surprise Builders Interiors offered same price for Pental, MCI, other brand names for their square foot program but also was thicker 3 cm. For very little amount up I got whatever I wanted. We were trying to coordinate the floor install with a water heater replacement but it was hard to get the two to agree on a time that worked for both of them. It got scheduled after Labor Day and someone didn't plan ahead so the flooring wasn't available when the water heater came out resulting in extra time for the plumber. Then the carpet measure was slightly off so one closet ended up with vinyl instead of carpet which is actually not a bad idea. The installers were great, very hard workers and the figured out ways around all the issues. We are very happy with the results. They also seem very flexible and can get things done quickly if you need it. Lots of flooring choices and generally helpful though I was hoping for more. Price was good. He called me after the first of the year, said he read my review and honestly reported that he didn't realize the job was incomplete and didn't have a firm understanding on what had happened. Didn't make excuses, he just wanted to make it right and asked to come back and take care of everything. That speaks volumes to me. He came back, reviewed the problems and took care of it. A lot of people would have wrote this off and I'll definitely work with him again. Types of Carpet Fiber

Nylon
Nylon is the most popular fiber used in residential carpet, primarily because it can spring back into shape after being compressed underfoot better than other synthetic fibers. That’s why you’ll see it most often in high-traffic rooms, family spaces, and homes with kids or pets. Nylon isn’t naturally stain-resistant, but it takes well to stain-resistant treatments applied during manufacturing.
Polyester
Polyester is naturally stain-resistant, since moisture and most liquids sit on the surface of the fiber rather than soaking in. It also tends to feel softer than nylon at a similar price point and holds rich, vibrant color well. The tradeoff is durability. Polyester is more prone to matting and crushing under heavy foot traffic, which makes it a better fit for bedrooms and lower-traffic spaces than for busy living areas. Many polyester options are made from recycled materials as well.
Smartstrand
Smartstrand is Mohawk’s name for triexta fiber. Think polyester’s softness with nylon’s backbone. The stain resistance isn’t a coating sprayed on after the fact; it’s baked into the fiber during manufacturing, so it won’t wash out or wear thin after a few years of cleanings. Put it in a family room or a house with a dog, and it will hold up.

- Measurements. Before providing an accurate quote, we determine how much material your project requires. A Builders Interiors representative can visit your home to take professional measurements, or you can submit your room dimensions, square footage, and photos through our online form.
- Choose your materials. Our Woodinville showroom allows you to explore carpet fibers, textures, and colors in person. Comparing full samples side by side lets you judge feel and color accurately before committing.
- Quote, agreement, and installation. Once you’ve selected your materials, we’ll provide a detailed estimate for materials or materials plus installation. When you’re ready to move forward, we’ll send paperwork electronically and can take a deposit over the phone. If installation is included, we’ll schedule your project at this time to keep everything on track from selection through completion.
